Three federal job hiring paths open to you

There are three major ways to apply for federal jobs, each with a different hiring authority for active duty military spouses. We can help you prepare a Best Qualified resume for each.

USAJOBS positions for DOW Military Spouses

If you apply to Military Spouse positions that are open to the Department of War and military installations, you can be considered with the MSP PPP program. This hiring program can help you rise to the top of the list with a Best Qualified resume.

Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) jobs

Positions on base funded outside appropriations, applied for separately from USAJOBS.

USAJOBS positions open to Military Spouses for any agency using EO 13473

EO 13473 is a Direct Hire Authority for active duty military spouses. Hiring officials can hire the military spouse without competition, at a job fair.

Your Military Spouse Volunteer experience is relevant experience for your resume

We feature your military PCS history and add a Military Spouse Job Block and summary, so the hiring manager can see your record across every relocation and gap, and your dedication to the defense mission.
