FEDERAL RESUME WRITING
Schedule A (Disability)
The Schedule A hiring program is real, and you can apply through it. We write the targeted federal resume and cover letter that the Selective Placement Program Coordinators need to see.

THE APPLICATION
How the Schedule A application comes together
Schedule A is a double-application process, and every piece has to point at the same target position.
Target a specific series
The coordinators want to see a resume targeted to a specific occupational series, using the keywords and KSAs for that series.
Get the Schedule A letter
Schedule A hiring requires a letter from a medical doctor or Vocational Rehabilitation office. We can show you a sample and help you assemble the full application.
Apply both ways
Apply through USAJOBS and directly to the Selective Placement Program Coordinators. We prepare a targeted resume and cover letter for both routes. See the OPM coordinator directory.
Prove it with accomplishments
We add five to seven accomplishments so you prove the past performance that matches the KSAs, with the keywords written into the resume per the announcement.
A resume the coordinators need to see
Our Outline Format runs about five pages and is popular with USAJOBS HR specialists and the Selective Placement Program Coordinators alike: the keywords, KSAs, and accomplishments for your target series, in a format built to be reviewed quickly.
